Phillida Eves is a creative sensory artist and educator and is passionate about giving Autistic children with learning disabilities a voice in the creative process and agency in expressing themselves through the creative arts.

Phillida develops the work with the children and young people at the heart of the collaborative process. She is a participant in Branar’s Meitheal Initiative and the Irish representative of IIAN, International Inclusive Arts Network, Assitej.

 

Elaine Donovan is an independent theatre producer. Her interests lie in theatre for young audiences and advocating for diversity and inclusion in the arts.

Elaine is Producer with Rosán Sensory Adventures - working to bring sensory theatre to schools and venues throughout Ireland. Her work with Baboró International Arts Festival for Children, as Development Manager, culminated in RTÉ Toy Show Appeal funding for Baboró and Rosán to continue the development of work for young audiences with additional needs.

 

Amélie Bal is a French national living in Ireland for 20 years. She is creative, physical, and a thinker, with a passion for circus. Amélie was inspired to develop professionally both as a circus and performance artist, but also as a teacher outside the boundaries of the classroom. She always enjoys challenges and loves mixing unlikely disciplines.

Over the last few years Amélie has have found the subject of the senses, and the way in which we interact with the world, absolutely fascinating. Working with Phillida Eves over the last 2 years has really anchored and enriched this interest in the sensory world, she is longing to continue to discover and learn, and is excited about the journey.

 

Michael Chang is an American composer, musician, and performer based in Galway, Ireland. A multi-instrumentalist and arranger, he has received numerous awards and bursaries for his work.

Michael has been commissioned to compose music for a variety of organisations, including Branar Theatre Company, Galway Community Circus, and Macnas. He has devised and developed work with Phillida Eves since 2019, using music to inspire connections and create new experiences for children with additional needs. michaelchang.ie

 

Karina Nachbar is a designer and illustrator, originally from a seaside town in the east of Germany. Karina holds a BA in Design of Playing and Learning from Burg Giebichenstein–University of Art and Design Halle, Germany as well as an apprenticeship as a Graphic designer.

Karina is highly passionate about creating meaningful moments and experiences for and with children and young people that engage, delight and nurture their natural creativity. This belief has guided her work as associate artist with Kids’ Own Publishing Partnership and as stage manager and prop maker for Rosán.

 

Johanne Webb is a mother, actor, director, Family Constellations facilitator and proud member of MAM (Mothers Artists Makers). She studied acting at MMU (Capitol Theatre) and holds a BA and an MA in Theatre and Media for Development (University of Winchester). Recent credits include SALT (Vanessa Earl), Hear Our Voices (Rósan Sensory) Woman in Where Mountain Kisses Sea (Twisted Lane) , Jo in Also For Roaring ( Róisín Stack), Performer 9 Stories About Love (Little Door). Johanne is a Performance Director for Macnas, and is currently developing a 5 year project called This Is A Post About Love. She is a Druid FUEL and Axis Assemble recipient.

 

Fionnuala Doyle Wade is a dance artist from Seattle, and currently based in Galway city. She is a highly physical, energetic, & joyous performer. She has worked in a diverse number of settings & communities within the arts world including: dance in traditional & site specific contexts, theatre, film, young people, & people with special needs.

Fionnuala has a deep curiosity about the potential for dance to communicate what written & oral language cannot.

 

Aoife Cunningham is a qualified music therapist, currently working in Galway. She holds a degree in languages and children studies and has worked as a musician, music teacher and music facilitator in educational settings abroad such as France, Chile and New Zealand.

As a music therapist, Aoife has clinical experience with young children and adults with special needs. When she's not playing music you'll find her swimming in the sea!

 

Tonya Lenhart is a Galway-based anthropologist turned theatre maker originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received her BA in Sociocultural Anthropology in 2016 and her MA in Theatre Practice and Production from University Galway in 2020.

Tonya’s passion for anthropology has pushed her to explore humanity through a dramatic lens and she now works as an independent theatre practitioner with skills as a performer, writer, producer, and stage manager.  She works with Rosán in an administrative role.
